Biden: US, G7 Leaders Moves For “Devastating” Sanctions Against Russia

US President Joe Biden, in a Twitter message, says he agreed with fellow G7 leaders “to move forward on devastating packages of sanctions and other economic measures to hold Russia to account.”

“We stand with the brave people of Ukraine,” he added.

Biden met with the leaders earlier today and is set to speak at 1:30 p.m. ET from the White House on the situation unfolding in Ukraine
