Chelsea Owner Abramovich Barred From Living In UK

Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich has been forbidden from living in United Kingdom ever again following his suspected ties with the Russian government.

According to the Daily Mail, Abramovich, who is also a Russian, has not been seen at Chelsea’s home game at Stamford Bridge in months.

In 2018, the billionaire who bought Chelsea in 2003 withdrew his application for a Tier 1 investor visa in the United Kingdom.

Following condemnation of Russian oligarchs in the aftermath of the Salisbury poisonings, there have been reports of delays in his application.

According to senior security sources, he is unlikely to be allowed to live in the United Kingdom again.

According to rumors, immigration officers have been given orders to make it hard for him to set up shop in the United Kingdom. He has a house for £125 million near Kensington Palace.

He was described by British MPs as one of 35 oligarchs enabling Putin’s ‘kleptocracy,’ as identified by Russia’s opposition leader, Alexei Navalny — a claim Abramovich passionately disputes.
