According to Keefe, Diddy funded the assassination carried out on September 7, 1996.

Keefe’s statements suggest that Diddy paid another gangster, Eric Von Martin, to execute the hit.

The documents filed on July 18 reveal that pseudonyms such as Puff Daddy, P Diddy, and Diddy were frequently mentioned.

The first reference indicated pre-existing animosity between Diddy and Tupac, fueling the deadly rivalry that was no secret in the hip-hop industry.

Keefe’s account in the court records details how Diddy reached out after Tupac’s assassination, inquiring if it was their doing or another rival gang.

The records show Diddy asking, “Is that us?” to which Keefe proudly responded, “Yes.”

Keefe had initially provided this information under the assumption of immunity from prosecution.

However, this assumption has backfired, and the revelations could now be used to convict him.

Keefe admitted that the conspiracy to commit the murder began in California, involving himself, Eric ‘Zip’ Martin, and Sean Combs.

Keefe confessed to LA police detectives that his nephew, Orlando ‘Baby Lane’ Anderson, was the one who “popped the dude (Tupac).”

He narrated in detail how his nephew leaned over, rolled down the window, and shot Tupac.

Despite publicly claiming that he only incriminated himself, Keefe’s statements suggest otherwise.

He indicated that Sean Combs paid Eric Von Martin a million dollars for the assassination. When questioned by police, Keefe confirmed, “Yeah,” when asked if Puffy paid for the hit.
