Jihadists have wiped out all male Christians in Fantio and Dolbel, two towns in the Tillabéri region in the south-western Niger Republic.

 

iexclusive News Nigeria reporst that women with small children and infants who were spared during the bloody attack fled to Burkina Faso’s Dori region.

According to PM News, AID to the Church in Need (ACN), the organization that reported the attacks, quoted fleeing women as saying the Jihadists attacked the towns twice, killing Christian men.

Following the killings in Fantio, the terrorists also set fire to a statue of the Virgin Mary, liturgical books, and musical instruments.

 

After desecrating the Blessed Sacrament by scattering the sacred hosts, the terrorists set fire to the church.

 

This is the third parish to be abandoned in this region of Niger as a result of terrorist attacks.

 

Survivors of the attacks fled to Niamey, Niger’s capital, seeking refuge in the parish of Téra, or crossed the border into Burkina Faso’s Diocese of Dori.
