Nnamdi Kanu: Obiozor-led Ohanaeze Ignores Faction Statement
Nnamdi Kanu: Obiozor-led Ohanaeze ignores faction statement, threatens ‘impostors’
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo, chaired by George Obiozor, says it has not issued a statement on Nnamdi Kanu’s re-arrest and re-arraignment as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
iexclusive News Nigeria reports that On Wednesday, the National Publicity Secretary, Alex Ogbonnia, issued a reply.
The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization has advised the people to disregard the reaction of “impostors.”
His retort came after the Secretary-General of Chidi Ibeh’s Ohanaeze, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, published a statement regarding Kanu’s arrest.
Ogbonnia advised miscreants using the name Ohanaeze Ndigbo for personal gain to stop their humiliating misadventure.
Ogbonnia stated that silence on the part of the leadership would imply acceptance of “fallacy.”
“The Ohanaeze Ndigbo leadership, led by Ambassador Professor George Obiozor, has not issued a press comment on the topic.
“As the main Igbo cultural organization, Hanaeze Ndigbo does not release public comments in haste,” he emphasized.
According to the spokesman, if the warning is violated again, the body will be forced to use the full force of the law to deal with the violators.
