Obasanjo: Why I Don’t Want To See Another Coronation Of Olu Of Warri 

Olusegun Obasanjo, the former President of Nigeria, prayed on Sunday that another Olu of Warri would not be crowned.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Obasanjo stated that he does not want to witness Olu of Warri’s fourth coronation because he has already witnessed three in his lifetime.

The former president addressed at the Palace of the Olu of Warri, Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, at the thanksgiving service of the newly installed Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.

He urged the newly installed king and the people of Itsekiri to collaborate with the new monarch in order to advance the kingdom’s growth.

“I am one of the happiest people on your installation because God has blessed me with three Olus, and I am not praying for the fourth.

“I want to emphasize that the position you have today was given to you by God, but you must always remember that you are surrounded by your own people.

“If God has given you a mission to complete, you will be offending God if you do not complete it,” he stated.
