Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has pleaded with Nigerians to cast their votes for him, Datti Baba-Ahmed, and his political party in 2023. 

iexclusivenews reports that he pledged to utilize the money to strengthen the country’s electricity, security, education, and agriculture sectors.

Mr Obi, who was present alongside his running mate, party heavyweights, and other stakeholders from the Southern/Middle Belt regions.

Promised to revolutionize agriculture on the vast expanse in the north and provide inhabitants with new job opportunities.

At the unveiling/endorsement of OBI/DATTI by the Southern & Middle belt Alliance. The presidential candidate addressed his supporters who had gathered in large numbers to welcome him in Jos.

Peter Obi promised that the nation’s resources would be put to use for the benefit of its people.

Speaking to the massive crowd at the event held at the Rwang Pam Township stadium.

Mr Obi urged the country’s youth to not take a back seat but instead step up efforts to obtain their PVC to ensure they vote for credible candidates in the upcoming elections.

He made this charge despite noting that poor governance and corruption have continued to push the country to the edge of disaster.

According to him, “The Labour Party has a program for every segment of the country. We would make sure that the available resources in the country are properly harnessed to rejuvenate the economy for the interest of every Nigerian…

“As the campaign begins, they will begin to share money, that is why there is no job, no food, and no security. When we get to power, that must stop. We want to stop hunger in Nigeria; we want to create jobs for the youths; we want to stop people from stealing public money. Please ask them where they got the money they are sharing. It is your money and we want to stop it sharing and put the money to good use.”

However, iexclusivenews Nigeria reports that Dr. Bitrus Pogu, National President of the Middle Belt Forum, noted that many socio-cultural groups in the country have endorsed Obi and his running mate’s candidacy.

Indicating that they have what it takes to save the nation for the benefit of all. He urged the. electorate to give them the necessary support to win the presidency in 2023.

The group had already paid respects to the traditional council by going to the Gbong Gwom Jos, Da Jacob Buba, palace.
