Suspected Phone Snatchers Stabs A Man To Death.

Umar Muhammad Ahmad, a 40-year-old father of three, was slain in Kano state by hoodlums suspected of being phone snatchers.

On Saturday night, July 3, late Umar Muhammad, a staff member of the National Commission for Museum and Monument in Kaduna, was walking home when he was ambushed beneath the ongoing Kwari Market Flyover.

They overcame him, stabbed him in the chest with what appeared to be a knife, and stole his phone.

“Late Umar Ahmad slumped at the spot gasping for breath, blood oozing from the wounded part of his body, while the suspected thieves disappeared into thin air along with the snatched phone.” a source told Iexclusive News Nigeria.

Umar was transported to the Kofar Wambai Police Station to file a report, and then to the Abdullahi Wase Specialists Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

On July 4, he was laid to rest in Kano. He leaves behind a wife and three children.
