iexclusive News Nigeria reports that the kidnapped pastor of RCCG in Kiyi, Kuje Area Council of Abuja, Pastor Salami Olaniyi, and nine others have regained their freedom after payment of N6 million ransom to their abductors.

A member of the RCCG, who preferred anonymity, said the pastor was abducted by gunmen nine days ago alongside nine others in Anguwar Bassa, Kiyi village.

He disclosed that N1.5 million was paid as ransom for the release of the pastor, while N4.5 million was paid as ransom for the nine other victims on Saturday evening.

“We give praise to God that our pastor and nine other residents who were abducted a few days ago have been released by their abductors after a ransom,” he said.

The spokesperson of the FCT police command, ASP Maryam Yusuf, did not pick calls or reply to a text message sent to her phone to confirm the release of both the RCCG pastor, and nine others
