Crypto Stocks Fall In Pre-Market Trading As Bitcoin Slumps To $21.6K

Crypto Stocks are trading sharply lower in the pre-market session on Friday, as bitcoin loses positive momentum.

iexclusivenews reports that Marathon Digital (MARA) and Riot Blockchain (RIOT) are leading the crypto stocks sell-off today, with both making double-digit percentage drops.

This online news outlet understands that Coinbase (COIN) is currently trading at $77.81, down 6.91% from Thursday’s finish of $85.44.

MicroStrategy (MSTR), one of the top bitcoin holders, has seen its stock fall to $297.68, down 8.23% from yesterday’s close.

The corrective character of this morning’s session is mirrored in the broader crypto market and equities… With the Nasdaq100 and S&P500 indices trading 0.82% and 0.68% lower, respectively.

Friday’s market slump follows a period of robust performance in equities since July 17, when the Nasdaq rose by 20.88%.

Despite today’s decrease to $77.81, Coinbase has fared extremely well this month, rising by 57.15%.
