Louis Van Gaal: Man Utd Reacts As He Confirms Battling With Cancer
Louis van Gaal a former Manchester United manager has received a message of support from Man United, who revealed on Sunday that he is battling prostate cancer.
Van Gaal joined United in 2014 and stayed at the club for two years.
In his final match as manager, the Dutchman won the FA Cup.
“Everybody at Manchester United is fully behind our former manager, Louis van Gaal, in his battle against cancer.
“Sending you strength and courage, Louis,” United’s official Twitter account wrote, accompanied by a heart emoji.

Van Gaal is still expected to take the Netherlands to the World Cup in 2022.
The Netherlands is in Group A with Qatar, Senegal, and Ecuador, which hosts the tournament.
The former Manchester United manager Van Gaal has revealed on live television that he is battling an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
The current Netherlands boss made the announcement on Dutch programme Humberto while promoting his new film, LOUIS.
Van Gaal’s fight against prostate cancer is featured in the film but the diagnosis had been kept a secret from his players.
“In each period during my time as manager of the National Team. I had to leave in the night to go to the hospital without the players finding it out until now. While thinking I was healthy. But.. I am not,” the 70-year-old revealed.
