Obi Cubana, has spoken out about his investigation by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for alleged drug connections.

iexclusive News Nigeria reports that Obi Cubana, the Chairman of Cubana Group was questioned about funds deposited into his companies’ accounts by convicted drug dealers from India, Malaysia, and Nigeria.

Speaking about the investigation for alleged drug money, Cubana said in an Instagram live with Daddy Freeze on Saturday that being linked to drugs was a huge blow that made him feel so low..

“He stated that he made a vow to God not to invest in or support drugs.”

He expressed hope that the NDLEA’s investigation would clear his name in the eyes of the public.

“In life, people must face certain challenges,” Cubana said. I’m currently dealing with mine. There was no witch hunt, and no one was looking for me.

“It was heartbreaking to be associated with drugs. I’ve never felt so hopeless. Anything to do with drugs is repulsive to me. It’s something I’ve promised God I’ll never support, invest in, or be a part of.

“The thought of that invitation by NDLEA alone was sad; I was not accused, but someone who paid money into my account was linked, and I believe the agency in question is responsible, and it will be made public once their investigation is completed.”

“It’s a sad thing, and I don’t want to talk about it any further,” Cubana said.
