AFCON 2021: Nigeria vs Sudan: Super Eagles Sinks Sudan Qualify For Knockout Stages

AFCON 2021 – Nigeria Super Eagles has advanced to the knockout stages of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations after defeating Sudan 3-1 on Saturday.

In their first Group D match, the Super Eagles defeated Egypt 1-0.

Goals from Samuel Chukwueze, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Moses Simon gave the three-time champions a three-goal lead over the Sudanese.

Sudan did pull one back, but it was merely a consolation goal.

Nigeria leads the group by six points, one point ahead of the Egypt-Guinea-Bissau game.
